Commissioned in 1970 by Mohammad Reza Pahlavi, the last Shah of Iran, this watch was specifically ordered as a limited-edition run of approximately 2,000 pieces.
Dial: The defining feature is the pre-revolutionary Iranian monarchy Lion and Sun emblem (printed in red and gold) alongside Persian script translating to "Iranian Royal Army" ("ارتش شاهنشاهی ایران")
Movement: 17-jewel Seiko Caliber 7005A automatic mechanical movement operating at 21,600 vph. It features a date window at the 3 o'clock position.
